Students visit the Shaw Elementary computer lab on a weekly basis for Grade 4 and 5 computer classes, and the Grade 6 Computer Applications and Technology/Engineering (CATE) class. Our lab is a busy place!

Under Technology/Engineering Programs, you will find links to fascinating television programs about how products are manufactured and the invention process.
Below Resource Links you will find a link to a review of keyboarding software, and several web sites that provide tutorials and activities to help students develop and practice basic computer skills at home. Some of our students need a lot of practice! The Bibliography Guide that Shaw students are expected to use for research projects is also included.
Finally, the Massachusetts standards documents for Instructional Technology (computer skills) as well as Science and Technology/Engineering are available for you to open with Microsoft Word.
