This will be my 19th year as a special education teacher and I love it!! I have my bachelors in Early Childhood Education from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and my masters degree in Special Education from Simmons College. In 2002, I also became certified as an Exceptional Needs Specialist from the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS). Over the years I have worked in residential programs, alternative schools and public schools with a wide range of student ages and abilities.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and our dogs (a Great Dane, a Boston Terrier, and a Bullmastiff), gardening, doing crafts, reading, and taking trips to Walt Disney World.
I get lots of help everyday from the classroom instructional assistant, Mrs. Trottier.
